ABOUT THE CREATORS
About the Authors
Mia Mbroh (pictured) is a licensed professional counselor with three decades of experience helping children and adults in everyday and crisis situations alike. She currently spends most of her time consulting and training about topics such as cultural intelligence, thoughtful leadership, diversity and faith, and parenting. She is also a sought-after speaker and moderator.
Cricket Jeter is a writer, editor and creative director of books, magazines, websites, and marketing and advertising projects. Her work has appeared in Texas Monthly, Neiman Marcus the book, and The New York Times, among others.
About the illustrator
Courtney Monday brings this story to life with vibrant colors and whimsical illustrations. She hand drew and digitally rendered the joyful, dynamic images that appear inside the book. She has illustrated over 20 childrens’ books.
