This past year has been exceptional in a myriad of manners. We are each forever changed in some significant way if we truly are aware. I had the privilege of facilitating dialogues with the faculty, staff, and graduating seniors of Cistercian Preparatory School, located in Dallas, Texas. Their quest to do “Hard Things Well” as they usher these young men into an ever-changing world, was notable to me in my work. It is an honor for me to share a profound writing of Father Peter that was shared at the beginning of the pandemic through a news outlet. I have continually witnessed the shifting of souls during the people I have counseled and trained during this pandemic, in a way that has previously only been observed during forced times of reflection, depression, isolation, and revelation. There is so much information “noise” out in the world. I hope this brings quietude and anchoring to you. May your soul feel its worthiness.
